Rooted
Fresh air, friendly faces and a simple way to connect while caring for your local area.
What is Rooted?
Rooted is our friendly, hands-on lunchtime gardening programme, bringing people together to care for local green spaces across Waterloo.
Last year, Rooted grew into a welcoming community, bringing together regular volunteers and new faces from businesses across the area. It’s become a really nice way to spend a lunch break, meet people from other local workplaces and play a small but important role in looking after Waterloo’s valuable green spaces.
Why you’ll love it
• A proper break from your desk.
• Fresh air and time outdoors.
• A chance to meet people from other Waterloo businesses.
• A relaxed, informal lunchtime activity.
• Doing something practical and positive for the local area.
• A free Lower Marsh Market lunch voucher as a thank you.
