Lower Marsh Market has received a huge number of applications recently and therefore there is lots of competition for hot food marketplaces. Therefore, please ensure your application is of high quality and that your food is unique. We will not accept any applications for businesses that are selling the same food as our existing traders.

Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions about both the trader application process and the experience of trading at Lower Marsh Market.
Can I trade on Lower Marsh Market?
It depends on what you are selling. We are currently looking to recruit non-food/craft traders and some unique food traders. However, we are not looking to recruit traders with menus that are similar to our existing food offering. Examples of specific cuisines that we're looking to recruit are: vegan/plant-based, healthy foods (salads etc.), Mexican and interesting fusions.
How much does it cost to trade on Lower Marsh Market?
Hot food stalls start from £55 per day and craft stalls from £11 per day. However, prices vary depending on electricity and storage usage.
What days can I trade?
The market is currently open 5 days per week from Monday to Friday. The busiest trading times are between 11am - 3:30pm.
Do you provide storage?
Yes, we do provide storage facilities - prices start from £40 per month per storage cage. However, please note traders are unable to store gas canisters in these facilities.
